La diputada Gabriela Guadalupe Martínez Vázquez presentó una iniciativa para reformar la Ley de Salud del Estado y fortalecer la prevención, detección oportuna y atención de trastornos de salud mental durante el embarazo, el parto y el posparto.
La propuesta plantea aplicar evaluaciones preventivas al menos una vez en el segundo y tercer trimestre del embarazo, así como realizar una valoración durante el primer mes posterior al nacimiento.
También contempla registrar los resultados en el expediente clínico, garantizar el seguimiento y capacitar al personal de salud para identificar señales de alerta y canalizar a las pacientes a servicios psicológicos o psiquiátricos cuando sea necesario.
La iniciativa busca que la atención materna sea integral, continua y libre de estigmas, de modo que la detección de posibles alteraciones se traduzca en atención efectiva. El proyecto fue turnado a la Comisión de Salud y Asistencia Social para su análisis.
